Aligning Our Annual Report with Our Fiscal Year

The AAO-HNS/F is changing how we share our Annual Report to provide a clear, complete picture of the programs, projects, and initiatives over the course of the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

What’s Changing: Historically, we’ve published our Annual Report each December, highlighting the calendar year’s activities alongside our fiscal year’s financial results.

Starting with Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) we will publish an Annual Report that aligns both programming highlights and financial results to the same fiscal year period.

What to Expect:

  • This December (2025): We’re providing the Fiscal Year 2025 financial report and Unaudited (Rounded) Consolidated Statement of Activities.
  • Summer 2026: Look for our first fully aligned Annual Report, covering everything from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

We help our members achieve excellence and provide the best ear, nose, and throat care through professional and public education, research, and health policy advocacy.

The global leader in optimizing quality ear, nose, and throat patient care.

2021 Annual Report Cover

The 2021 Annual Report is a special one in the history of the American Academy of Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery and its Foundation (AAO-HNS/F) in that it marks the 125th anniversary of our organization.

In addition to the traditional programs and services provided to the members, 2020 also thrust the Academy into action to provide the global otolaryngology community the resources, tools, and support for practices and patient care.

Each year, we assemble the global community to present and discuss the latest research and innovations within the specialty. We are recognized as an inviting, accepting, and inclusive professional community fostering diversity within the specialty and the organization.
